Monday, March 31, 2014. My brain is oft of late not the cooperative generator I desire. Maker muddles through many a morning with not much to offer me aside from the rote motion of making peanut and butter and jelly sandwiches and tucking them into their expected spaces in lunch box containers, driving and dropping and doing normal stuff that is all good, but not much to write about. I find I am not actually musing a thing come sunrise many a Monday morn.

Saturday, November 11, 2017. I met the guy in the front row of this picture in 1990. He was a retired Marine aviator. He was sitting in a plastic chair in a hospital room visiting his very ill wife. He had his legs crossed and his arms crossed over his chest. The body language alone told me to be VERY careful with this guy. This time she was on a ventilator and could not speak. Musings about life with 3 kids, writing, books, travel, food and pretty much anything else. Birthdays can be a time to reflect and look forward, to evaluate the choices we make and the life we are living. This is especially true of the decade markers. With my fortieth birthday tomorrow, I am determined not to be down about getting older.

A year ago my sister got married. I helped plan and execute her reception, which I may talk about in another post. I had bitten off more than I could chew and time was running out. I realized I needed to find something to wear to the wedding so I looked through my closet. I hope you enjoyed seeing those little treasures.
